I had the very good fortune of seeing one of the warm up shows in a small pub in Dublin. It was amazing, Dave mooching around the stage, smoking & pulling poses and looking at his reflection in small mirrored columns when Hunt sang stateside! It was a fantastic sweaty gig - slightly marred by the people wanting Heroes etc but the band were rocking and sooo loud!

I never 'got' Thin Machine really, but then again I never saw them live... It sounds so much like a live act.

I'd actually been a fan before the gig. I really liked TM1. I thought there was some really good stuff on it. Baby can dance is a great Bowie song, but stuff like the title song, Prisoner of Love, Under The God are well worth the time.
