| What do people think of her? I love her. She idealises Bowie's fashion sense, therefore got inspiration from him.... | |

| I think she's okay, but she's REALLY overrated. I do like her newest song, You and I. I heard it once or twice. If she wrote more songs like that, I'd probably listen to her more.

| I think that she is as brave as Bowie for trying things that aren't necessarily exceptable in today's views, plus I love her music | |

I didn't see you'd replied sorry In what way do you think she's overrated? I'm not obsessed with her or her music so I won't be offended, just interested :]

| I like some of her songs, but I think it's a pity that people in my age think she's so brave and knows how to get publicity, but in fact David did almost exactly the same things 30 years ago... She just "steals" his ideas :p | |

I realise this, however I think it's more like inspiration as she hasn't copied any outfits, I would want to be like him if I was going to be a singer!!! Also, I still think it's brave wearing controversial outfits, no matter what year it is!

In what way do you think she's overrated? I'm not obsessed with her or her music so I won't be offended, just interested :] Well, she's not that great of a singer or song writer. I think she uses extreme costumes to get noticed, since her music isn't that great.

| I can respect her as an artist, and obviously she's alright in my books since she likes Bowie. However, it annoys me when my friends talk about stuff she's done and how 'original' she is. A perfect example of this is that picture of her with a lightning bolt on her face, one of my friends loves that picture and thinks it's so creative and unique. She doesn't like to listen to me when I tell her that David Bowie did that exact same thing thirty years earlier. Grr. | |

| Personally...I think she is a no tallent, she takes things... a little too far... I don't know how to describe it... And apparantly, all of her film clips are a tribute to Bowie =\ | |

The hilarious thing about that is, I have a friend and we have the exact same things as she's obsessed with GaGa and I'm obsessed with Bowie

| Bowie was even the first major star to perform the moonwalk....yeah lots of people did it before him, but he was the first major, as i said. Jackson, when he was still black and a young fellow, went to watch the Diamond Dogs tour. Michael took some of Bowies moves and improved them... =S anyways its on wikipedia just search moonwalk. | |

WOW That's what I thought when I first read that, but it definitely makes sense, Bowie did everything first I tried telling my mum that but she'd just stop me and say "Bullshit." It's hard to convince some people.
