Nice to see a new Bowie forum up and running. I used to use the Teenage Wildlife forums but that seems to be filled with the usual boring lot that have been there for eons.

Me, my name is Andrew and have been a Bowie fan going on 30 years (will be 30 years on the 8th of August). I have seen him live many times in lots of places across the globe. I have and probably always will be a little obsessed with the man.

I'm still hoping he goes back to the recording studio again someday.

I signed up a few days ago but haven't got into it yet really.

Hey I'm Laura, 17 and from Britain, I've loved Bowie since I was little. I had the The Labyrinth on video and thought the songs on that were awesome, and I fancied David at a ridiculous age without knowing how inspirational he was, at about age 12 I decided to take a look at his other music and fell in love straight away!

I now own The Labyrinth on DVD, (I only own two DVDs)
And I have 4GB of Bowie on my ipod, he cheers me up or helps me to drift off at night.

I just love him!

I own all but 2 or 3 of his studio albums, several dvds, an action figure, shirts, I could go on. I drive my family nuts by playing his music all day, my brother torments me about it, but I've got a thick skin

Looking forward to getting to know all of you, if I don't know some of you already!

I thought so too!

I hear so very often that people are totally shocked that I like him -
then they act like, 'But he is so old!' or 'How the hell did you get in
touch with the music of that creep?'

I ignore them most of the time, and my friends accept me for who
I am (since I'm not the slightest bit embarressed) - I even managed
to get some people into liking Bowie as well! (Like my oldest and my
youngest sister )

Haha I had some battles over here too - mostly with my math teacher and several others! Also with my entire familiy and some friends on msn. It's much fun to defend him - I get to boast with all the things I know about him...

Thanks, guys. Hm.... no, I don't have any questions atm. I know quite alot already. I did some Bowie google AND youtube stalking around 2 weeks ago and I ordered the Sound & Vision DVD and watched last week so I know ALOT ALOT more than I did before, LOL. Rare And Unseen is on the way, haha

Sound and Vision and Rare and Unseen are two great DVDs. Very interesting.
