Just some random small "news".

Didn't really know where to write this, it felt a little bit unnecessary to create a new topic, so if you have some other small news you can maybe write them here?

Anyway, yesterday I found a book called "shoes", and those who know me knows that I loove shoes... So ofcourse I started reading the book, and it contained 1000 photos of different shoes and small texts about designers and shoes from differend cultures and... a page about Ziggy's shoes! :o Quite fun that David has changed the shoe fashion that much so he was mentioned in that book together with all the famous designers Then it also contained a quote I really recognized "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues"

I may have to get that book just to read that bit about Ziggy's shoes. He had some amazing shoes, especially earlie-mid 70's!

Now I can't remember exactly, but it just said sokmething like: In the 70's, the king of glam David Bowie performed in these platform shoes and brought glam to the streets. And something that he inspired people and some photos

I was at the art uni the other day for a workshop and I was looking through some photography annuals and EVERY one I looked at their would be a portrait of Bowie. I like to think he's stalking me hahaha!

Haha I think there's somthing we are ment to do... Cause in the book he was actually on the first page I saw, I just opened it in the middle of the book, and immideately, there he was!

Has anyone felt that Neuköln is a little hypnotizing? :/
First time I heard it I was in some strange trance the whole day! :p Is it just me, or do you also feel strange after listening to it?

or maybe we are so accustomed to seeing his face now we are just instantly drawn to it?

and around the Neuköln thing it definitely had an effect on me, the first instrumental piece of his I listened too was Warszawa which blew my mind away. I then went on to listen to Neuköln and wow just wow, I just stared blanky ahead of me for the whole time totally engulfed it was brilliant!
The bit at the end especially haunts me, sending shivers down my spine. Pure genius.

Yes I guess you're right! Cause when I read a text, even if it's a whole paper with text everywhere, I immideately spot his name in the middle of the text when I look at it! Strange...

I don't know if you have heard about this before, but I just thought of this today for no reason at all and realized that it was maybe only written in the swedish newspapers...

There is a swedish band called "A camp" and they are huge Bowie fans so for their new (not very new anymore) album they asked David to participate and he agreed! But then they got scared and changed their minds (I hate them for that...) so they called him back and said that they didnt want it anymore :S But quite cool that he said yes!

Holy Shit! Shoes are my favourite item of clothing.. or whatever you want to call it....

haha I looove shoes too! I buy too much shoes, so right now I guess I have 7 pairs waiting in the wardrobe which I still haven't used... :p
