I am a big fan of this show, and actually Sherlock Holmes is my second major obsession (after Bowie).
I was very excited when i read that :

As it happens, Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Sherlock, will also appear in The Hobbit, as Smaug the dragon. “Peter [Jackson] completely understands Sherlock and loves it,” he says. “Spielberg loves it. Danny Boyle loves it. I found out David Bowie likes it today. He’s obsessed with it. That is f***ing cool.”

We can't be sure it's true. But ahah it makes me fucking happy. cheers

The first episode of the second season came out yesterday !
I'm trying to watch it (streaming) now ! Very Happy
